Who is the Rogue CFO?

Hello everyone, thank you first of all for visiting the site to learn more about myself and how I act as an interim, outsourced CFO to growth stage companies.

Over the years as I paid my dues in the corporate world, working up the accounting & finance ladder, I knew there was more to life. I pursued an MBA degree with a focus on entrepreneurship, and at my last ‘real’ job, I was a CFO for a dot.com in their first year of operations.  Once I had experienced the excitement of working with a growing, venture backed, company I wanted to continue working with fast growing, cutting edge ventures who needed a dynamic and well rounded CFO.

With a zest for entrepreneurship and wanting to focus exclusively on growth stage ventures, I became a Rogue CFO – helping companies grow their ventures and left the corporate world to pursue my endeavor.  Originally focusing on financial aspects – forecasting, growth, revenue generation, I realized that in working with my clients that I had a much more vast and broad exposure to the world of growing ventures than I realized. I began working with people who had a great idea but not the business skills to take it beyond the stage they were at. As such, I now am involved with all aspects of taking a good company and making it great, whether it’s helping bring a company to IPO, implementing best business practices, working with investors or managing the accounting team.  Nothing could be more exciting than seeing a company that really has potential go to the next level with my help.
